Position Summary
The Project Leader is responsible for the technical application, design, development and implementation of software development projects and initiatives on a short release cycle. The Project Leader reports to the General Manager and collaborates with the entire development team including developers, quality assurance, technical services, client services, and systems administration.

Essential Functions / Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
• Organized and capable of managing multiple complex parallel projects
• Consistently deliver high quality product on time
• Mentor, coach and lead a successful team
• Document technical requirements, develop and oversee project plans and implement change control procedures
• Manage risks, issues and project change control in terms of scope, schedule, cost and quality
• Provide leadership to diagnose and overcome barriers to team/project progress
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, software design sessions, and architectural reviews with technical and business staff
• Be able to write code as well as review or debug code from other developers
• Daily attendance and participation in stand-up meetings
• Must be able to commute to and work in an office environment

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
• Two or more years’ experience as a technical project manager or project lead
• Two or more years’ experience developing e-commerce or web applications
• Expertise in software development methodologies
• Demonstrated success in the leading and managing of people in a team-based environment
• Prefer experience in payment processing, banking, medical or other industry where high application and data security are required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• BA/BS in Business, Computer Science or equivalent
