At RevTrak, our origin dates back to 1991 when we, as Thorson & Associates, started providing software consulting services to several major organizations.

In 1993, after consulting for a Community Education program, we were inspired to listen to and respond to the needs of school districts: credit card processing, internal controls, and account code reporting.  We began writing and developing registration software for Community Education programs.

During 1998, RevTrak developed desktop software that would allow schools to accept credit card payments and track those payments with reporting based on Fund Accounting principles. Since 1998, we have been solely involved in developing products for the processing of electronic payments for schools, local governments, and non-profits.

In 2002, we developed and launched our first Web Store for Northfield Township District in Illinois, thus making it possible for the school district to securely accept online payments from parents for transportation fees.

Today, RevTrak continues to move forward. RevTrak was the first to introduce software to process payments for the K12 market and the first to provide a web payment solution to accept all school fees.  We attribute our success to a corporate culture with core values that employees are proud to exemplify, both during and apart from work, and of course our loyal and valued clients.

Since the inception of the first RevTrak® Web Store, we have expanded our Web Store clients to over 900 and now collect a wide variety of fees for school districts, city governments and other non-profit organizations!
