Looking Up a Customer (Administrators & Power Users)

Administrators and Power Users can view all customer information in the Contacts Editor except their password.

To look up a customer, do the following:

 

1.On the Dashboard home page, scroll to Contacts. Click on View/Edit Contacts. The Contacts Lookup screen appears.

2.In the Contact Type field, scroll through the drop-down menu and select Web Customer.

 

Note Icon

"Web Customer" refers to both Web Store and Order Entry customers.

 

 

3.To display the desired name, enter one of the following in the field next to Contact Type:

 

The % symbol to show all customer names
One or more beginning letters of a last name to show all names that start with those letters
The full last name of the customer to show only customers with that name

 

4.Click Go and the desired name(s) appear under Contact Name in Web Customer Contacts sorted by Last Name.

 

5.Select the desired customer name. The Contacts Editor screen appears displaying the information for the customer.

6.Click on Click here to return home to go back to the Dashboard home page.
