Card Reader Requirements

Requirements for Using the Card Reader:

 

•Windows-based computer.

 

•Internet Explorer for your browser. The card reader uses ActiveX controls, available only with Internet Explorer.

 

Caution Icon

Be sure to set up the card reader before running a transaction for the first time to avoid causing any problems with the transaction.

 

Notes Icon

•You are setting up the card reader on a specific Internet Explorer browser. If you change Internet Explorer browsers, you must repeat the procedure.

 

•The card reader must be an HID/USB device. The software will not work with keyboard entry devices.

 

•Be sure that you have only one HID/USB device connected to your computer.
