Order Entry Item Guidelines

Before you create an Order Entry item, decide first if an existing Web Store item can be used or if a separate Order Entry item must be created.

 

Order Entry items have specific limitations. If the existing Web Store item you are considering for Order Entry is set up with any of the following, you will need to create a separate order entry item:

 

It is linked to an import list.
It uses modifiers.
It is part of a real-time web services integration.

For Order Entry product descriptions to appear correctly in the Description field on the Edit Item screen, do not use HTML tags and line breaks.
